Kaltura OTT TV provides a consistent cross-device experience that allows users to take their favorite content wherever they go and intuitively interact between screens with TV control, content “swooshing” from one device to another, and synched second-screen metadata.
The new social features allow users to log in to their TV service using Facebook to engage with friends and receive recommendations based on what their community is watching. It includes an activity feed on the home page and abuzz meter makes it easy to see what is popular at any time, and an EPG for live or catch-up viewing. The household “parent” account can decide which members of the household can access content on specific devices and can set VOD budgets per user.
