Kaltura Unveils Turnkey ‘Big Screen’ Experience for Amazon Fire TV

Today we are excited to announce a new HTML5 web app for Amazon Fire TV. The app allows Kaltura customers to publish video content directly to Amazon Fire TV through the Kaltura Player Toolkit, improving the content creator’s ability to distribute and monetize content while maintaining a streamlined multi-screen experience for their viewers.

Building on the Web App Starter Kit for Fire TV recently released from Amazon, our newly created web app brings the Kaltura’s HTML5 player to the big screen. We hope this will enable publishers to create video experiences designed from the ground up specifically for the Fire TV platform.
In keeping with our mission of powering video experiences everywhere, we also cover Chromecast, native mobile applications as well as desktop and web browser support. The video player also runs natively within Twitter and Facebook social feeds.
