**About SAP**

SAP is a multinational software corporation that makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. With nearly a hundred thousand employees, they serve hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide in more than 180 countries.

**How is SAP using video?**

SAP uses video across the entire company for a broad range of uses, including corporate communications, executive messaging, internal collaboration, learning and development, marketing, sales and pre-sales, and customer care.

To support so many different use cases, SAP leverages a variety of Kaltura SaaS products, including the Kaltura Management Console, Kaltura MediaSpace, Kaltura Webcasting, eCDN, Kaltura Personal Capture, REACH, and Kaltura Pitch.

**Why use one platform across the organization?**

“I think that the benefit of having multiple use cases and tools in the same platform is that you can cater to a multitude of audiences and working styles,” says Barbara Sokolow, Director Internal Experience, Web & Digital Services at SAP. “I think the expectation today with users is that I think they want to go to one place for related tools and information. So to have all video-related tools–whether it’s around creation or consumption, putting video to a PowerPoint or just doing a simple recording from your desktop, or creating a complex learning video–having all of that in one place really makes sense for users.”

**AWS services used:**

To provide the best solutions for SAP, Kaltura is using Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, Amazon Simple Storage Service, Amazon Glacier, Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Virtual Private Cloud. These services allow delivering a secure, scalable and resilient platform for the video storage and management solution.

Kaltura has really worked and adapted to better meet the needs of SAP. So it’s been hugely appreciated: the flexibility, the adaptability, and really seeing Kaltura grow with us.
