As the Coronavirus continues to spread around the globe, Kaltura Co-founder, Chairman and CEO shares a statement on the situation.

Hello. My name is Ron Yekutiel and I’m the Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Kaltura, a leading provider of online video solutions for organizations.

The situation where the Coronavirus is quickly impacting every person around the globe in one way or another, as the global community continues to respond to the implications of the virus, one of the biggest areas that has been influenced is people’s needs to communicate and continue day-to-day operations remotely.

Schools are closing all around the world, but learning cannot stop.

Conferences are being canceled worldwide, but businesses must carry on.Employees are stuck in containment, canceling their travel plans, but companies must still do business.

Video solutions have increasingly become mission critical in recent years across education and in the workplace as part of the digital transformation trend with a growing need to cater to remote workplace and the gig economy.

In recent weeks, due to the Coronavirus, the need for distance communication and education has ceased to be a gradually growing trend and has instead become an urgent and immediate necessity for almost all organizations, large and small.

People are in dire need for a virtual workplace and school instead of their physical ones.

At Kaltura, we power online communication and learning by providing a platform for virtual classrooms, virtual meeting rooms, we harness the power of on-demand live and real-time video technology to videofyi and virtualize over 25 percent of the Fortune 100 companies and hundreds of the world’s leading universities.

We’re already working with many of our existing customers to help ensure that they can handle the
Corona implications and we’re seeing high demand worldwide.

We’re also launching a series of activities to do whatever we can to help mitigate this epidemic by providing free packages of our services, as well as educational resources to the global community.

Visit us at corp.kaltura.com to learn more about what you can do and how we can help you to address the burning need for a virtual workplace and learning environment.

Wishing all of us good health, speedy resolution and recovery from the virus, and in the meantime, we streamline an efficient virtual experience.
