Helping Students Develop a Personal Brand

The University of Portland Pamplin School of Business features a co-curricular personal and professional development program. While students learn the technical aspects of business, they are also expected to learn about themselves. Students work to develop their own personal and professional goals. Director of Professional Development Program Gwynn Klobes wanted to help her students answer the question “Who am I?” But more than that, they needed to prepare for the interviews and challenges they’ll face in the working world. She settled on video. Students can build their own personal brand by recording themselves. Then, she can guide their personal development through feedback on their videos.
Discover how the University of Portland uses video as the ultimate feedback for students’ personal development.
