Sales Engineers/ Nationwide

The Sales Engineer is a dynamic, hands-on role that works closely with the Kaltura sales, business development, marketing and product development teams, as well as the broader Kaltura community.  You are responsible for crafting and representing Kaltura's Enterprise/ SMB solutions in the market, and serve as the subject matter expert during the pre-sale and post-sale process working closely with the customers to scope and define the best solution to their business needs.

  • Serve as a liaison between the product and sales teams, educating current and future Kaltura Enterprise/SMB clients on our product suite
  • Serve as architect and consult with account team to develop architectural solutions for customers.
  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of the entire Kaltura product line.
  • Provide technical pre-sales and solution engineering support to Kaltura representatives, documenting customer use cases and technical requirements and then proposing a unified solution
  • Demonstrate Kaltura products both over the web and at client sites
  • Lead design sessions with strategic Enterprise/SMB clients, detailing high level design plans to the Kaltura team through specifications, site diagrams, and wireframes.
  • Provide input to the Enterprise/SMB team lead and the Kaltura VP of Product on the Enterprise/SMB product roadmap
  • Represent Kaltura at conferences and community events, through speaking engagements, blogging, and participation on list-serves

Desired Skills & Experience:

Customer Accounts Manager – EMEA/ London, UK

Duties and Responsibilities

The account manager’s role is a dynamic, hands-on role that works closely with nearly every group in the company including sales, business development, operations, finance, projects and R&D. The account manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of our European customers including overseeing deployment and delivery from a customer relationship perspective, updating customers on roadmap developments, and acting as an additional touch point for the support team ensuring that customers receive top-notch service.  You are also responsible for understanding customers’ business goals and identifying opportunities to grow client accounts and provide additional value.

Duties include:

  • Manage day-to-day contact and communications with active customers
  • Know and understand customer business model, roadmap, goals, business climate and media strategy

  • Closely monitor and assist in large scale deployments for strategic customers
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries post integration, and technical support

Media Business Development and Sales Director/ London, UK

Duties and Responsibilities

We are searching for an exceptional Business Development and Sales Director to lead our expansion efforts in the media sector within the EMEA region.  We are looking for people who are passionate about online media and next generation technology and can take a leadership role in increasing our customer-base.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for meeting and exceeding revenue goals, ideally within the web technology industry with experience developing business in the digital media, CMS, SAAS, or video platform spaces. Description

Development position working on the core Kaltura open source platform and performing integrations with 3rd parties technology teams. Includes working with and supporting our world-class customers' development groups.
The Professional Services development projects are typically short term projects, which require a quick turnaround and fast time to market.

This elite team is responsible for all Professional Services requested by Kaltura's customers in the Media, Education, Enterprise and Service Provider industries. The team includes professionals with experience in different technologies including PHP, Flash, Flex, MySQL and more. The Professional Services team typically works with top notch technology groups from companies around the world, such as Google, Facebook, Nielsen, Gartner, Disney, and ABC.
The team members are located in Israel and the US.

Role:

Strategy

Systems Integrator/ San Francisco, CA

The Role

The Systems Integrator would be in charge of deploying Kaltura On-Prem™ Edition at customer sites, configuring it to work with other Kaltura systems and services, and integrate it with existing applications, systems and providers. In addition, the Systems Integrator is expected to provide a high level of service, be attentive to customers’ needs and requirements and provide training and support to his/her customers. While most work can be done remotely, some deployments require an on-site visit.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the on-prem product per provided SOW in an orderly manner
  • Configure and integrate the system with existing systems, applications and providers
  • Troubleshoot and pinpoint any technical challenges to the deployments
  • Gather data on issues and escalate to R&D in a professional manner
  • Provide remote and on-site training to customer’s IT personnel
  • Document customer’s environment and issues
  • Be the professional representative of Kaltura by providing the most professional and courteous service available

Minimum Requirements

  • Mandatory: 3+ years of Linux operating system – system administrator level
  • Mandatory: 3+ years of LAMP experience – ability to install, configure and troubleshoot LAMP applications
  • Mandatory: 3+ years of Apache experience – deploy, configure and troubleshoot Apache deployments
  • Mandatory: 3+ years of MySQL – installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • 2+ years of network configuration – firewalls, VPNs, network and storage devices
  • 2+ years of Windows Server (2003/2008) and IIS – configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with VMware ESX and other virtual environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Fast learner – able to learn new environments, tools and applications
  • Ability to multi-task without compromising quality
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic and challenging environment where everyone works unconventional hours and “does it all”
  • Ability to self-document and work in an orderly manner

  • Video experience – encoding, streaming,
  • PHP – read PHP code and write simple scripts and fixes

  • CDN configuration experience (Akamai etc.)
