About the Back End Team

The Backend (Core) team leads, designs and develops Kaltura’s server platform and provides a comprehensive set of application programming interfaces (REST APIs) for all types of integration. The team also builds Kaltura's foundation layer that includes operational MySQL databases. The technology that the team uses includes LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and Sphinx.

The Backend team's main goal is to build a cutting-edge application that emphasizes performance, seamlessly supporting millions of transactions per day, based on high quality code that serves the entire Kaltura community.

Big Data Analytics Developer/ Tel Aviv, Israel

Reporting to: VP R&D

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for the overseeing system design, engineering, and technical development for the foray into "Big Data" and cutting edge Data Analytics for Kaltura's products and solutions.

This position requires a strategic thinker and tactical executor, have the latest knowledge and skills in the area of ETL, Distributed file systems, SQL, No SQL, Map Reduce, BI, High scalability, data storage and retrieval, reporting, real-time systems, crypto and security, orchestration, and deep system integration. 

The individual will provide both hands on development with system design and facilitate discussions with senior leaders, engineers, conduct analysis of volume and capacity, and articulate findings and technical roadmaps to development audiences.

The successful candidate will be expected to create impactful fit-for-purpose analysis using architectural models and data facilitate ongoing discussions regarding the Kaltura's vision, strategy, capabilities, and architecture tools, to analyze architectural data and design the next generation of our platform.

Responsibilities

The Analytics Senior engineer will provide planning, management, leadership, and support for all areas of the system and Data Analytics architecture. This will include, but is not limited to: infrastructure architecture; data models and architecture, databases, accessibility/security architecture; messaging, security, ETL,  API enablement, applications/software architecture and configuration.

•Be thought evangelists of data analytical techniques

•Envision the "Big Data" platform spanning both analytical & operational use cases

Education/Certification Requirements

Survey and Research Director- NYC/

DUTIES:

Design and deploy surveys of target groups including customers, clients, and potential leads. Determine sources and methodology of surveys. Oversee implementation of surveys. Consult with clients, customers and stakeholders to identify survey requirements. Conduct surveys and collect data, using interviews, internal webinars, questionnaires, market analysis surveys, literature and file reviews. Prepare and present analyses of survey data, including graphic and written depictions. Produce documentation of survey development process, data collection, sampling designs, and decisions regarding statistical weighting. Use survey data for lead generation and marketing activities and analyze ROI on marketing efforts.

REQUIREMENTS: 

B.S or foreign equivalent degree (as determined by a professional credential evaluator) + MBA with Strategic Marketing focus

3 years of experience as survey scientist or in marketing management

We are searching for an exceptional Director of Product Management to grow and expand our applications product line within the Kaltura product portfolio. We are looking for people who are passionate about online media and can take leadership in creating amazing products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for creating and launching successful products, ideally from within the enterprise software. You must be highly motivated, creative, extremely organized, and independent.



Responsibilities

·          Own product life cycle from vision and roadmap to specification, development, release and refinement for Kaltura’s MediaSpace product and additional products.

·          Work closely with selected customers and internal teams to identify market needs and translate them to product vision and requirements.

·          Partner with user experience, design and marketing to conceive innovative product experiences for our target audience

·          Identify technology partners with completing offering and work in collaboration to create an integrated product offering.

·          Define and communicate requirements for engineering team including writing product specifications, user stories,  wireframes, technical, and analytical specifications and verify execution.

·          Work with Product Marketing team to articulate and present value proposition.

·          Measure and analyze the success of products and version releases.
