Open Video Conference - Save the Date + Call for Papers

It is with great pleasure that we’re announcing the first ever Open Video Conference, which will take place in NYC on June 19th and 20th – PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!

We have opened the Call for Papers with some additional background. You are invited to submit a proposal at the following link no later than March 19th - http://openvideoalliance.org/proposals/ Please forward this to anyone that might be relevant.

The conference is being organized by the Open Video Alliance, of which Kaltura is a founding member along with Mozilla, Wikimedia Foundation, PCF (Miro), iCommons and the Yale Internet Society Project.

The Open Video Conference is geared towards raising awareness and the public profile of the open source video movement. It will present a forum to discuss the status of open source video, its benefits and challenges. The conference will feature talks from internet luminaries, panels and discussions, screenings of video art, and demonstrations of the newest internet video technology. We expect more than 400 participants.

We look forward to seeing you in New York at this disruptive event!
