New Version of WordPress Plugin Released

We launched Version 2.2 of our All in One Video Pack for WordPress today. Besides fixing some bugs, we have increased the default quality for all videos that are uploaded using Kaltura, and also added a cool feature that allows bloggers to capture their favorite frame as the video’s thumbnail.

Here’s a sample video and below are some screenshots of the new Capture Thumbnail feature.

video management, video solution, video streaming

Thumbnail Capture

To capture a new thumbnail go to Manage > All in One Video Library > click the little camera icon under the specific video you’d like to generate a thumbnail for

Play the video and you will see a “Capture thumbnail” button on top of the video > Click the button on the frame you want to capture, wait for a confirmation message and then click “Done”.

First I would like to say that your plugin and service is awesome! This is something I will definitely use in my blog service.

It would be good to use text domains by executing the load_plugin_textdomain() function during the init action in the source code like http://codex.wordpress.org/I18n_for_WordPress_Developers#Text_Domains

That way one can create a language file just for your plugin. I could then supply you with the Swedish language file.

Is it possible to translate everything in the plugin?

    Hi Bloggsida,

Our product was built with customizable multi-language support in mind. We’re currently working on providing access to the locale (text) files via our management console. We plan to roll this out (access to the console and access to the configuration files) in one of our next plugin releases. We’ll be sure to let you know once it’s available.

We’d love to see the plugin on your site. Keep us posted, please.
